Tryout Reminders for Spring Sports Teams

Tryouts for all Spring sports start on Monday, February 13th. To receive up-to-date tryout information, schedule information, news & announcements related to your team, make sure you sign up for your teams website on www.panthercreekathletics.com today!

You can sign up for your team's website by clicking on the "Register for Team" link found on the home page. Email questions about tryouts directly to the head varsity coach for each sport you are interested in. All paperwork MUST be completed and turned in to your coach by Thursday, February 9th to be eligible for tryouts on Monday, February 13th. To tryout:

Players must be signed up on your team's website.
Players must have:
- a valid physical (on proper WCPSS Participation form), including HIPAA statement
- a Concussion Awareness Statement (for both player and parent)
- a Critical Contact form
- a Code of Ethics form
Players must have cleared any teacher or school fines listed on SPAN.

Players who do not have this paperwork completed by 2/9/12 will NOT be allowed to participate on 2/13/12 and may not receive the same number of tryout days as other players.

Crocker to join Coach Adams for show on 1/17

New Panther Creek Football Coach Sean Crocker will be a guest of Coach Adams on the weekly Panther Creek Coaches Show on the Catamount Sports Network at panthercreek.ihigh.com. Join Coach Crocker, Coach Adams, and host James Alverson on Tuesday, January 17th at 7pm at Amante's in Cary Park. Hear Coach Adams talk about the 2nd half of the basketball season. It's a great opportunity for football families to meet Coach Crocker in person. Join us at Amante's and be sure to tell them that you're there to support the Catamounts! Amante's will donate 15% of your bill to the Panther Creek Athletic Boosters.

Riley Adams, son of Panther Creek Men's Basketball Coach Mark Adams, hits nothing but net to win Panther Creek High School's halftime Big Shot contest. Maybe he can treat dad to lunch with the $50 he earned. Way to go Riley! Click here to watch.
